Minidoka Memorial Hospital will offer monthly HeartSaver CPR/AED with First Aid classes for $100. CPR/AED without First Aid: $75; First Aid-only: $75.

Heartsaver CPR & First Aid

The AHA's HeartSaver First Aid CPR AED Course is a classroom, Instructor-led course designed to prepare students to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) use in a safe, timely, and effective manner.

Health Care Provider (BLS)

The AHA’s BLS Provider Course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, focusing on high-quality CPR and team dynamics.

Health Care Provider (BLS) Skills Check-offs

HeartCode BLS uses a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, eSimulations, animations, self-directed learning, and interactive activities to teach students BLS knowledge and skills.

Safesitter

Safesitter is a program that teaches boys and girls aged 11 to 13 how to handle emergencies and basic care skills while babysitting.

Safesitter: Safe at-home

Safe At-Home is a 90-minute program that teaches students how to practice safe habits, prevent unsafe situations, and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support

ACLS is an advanced, Instructor-led classroom course with online prework that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care, and immediate post-cardiac arrest care.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support Skills Check off

HeartCode ACLS is a self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program that uses eSimulation technology to allow students to assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor Course

The Instructor Essentials Course is designed to prepare instructor candidates to teach AHA instructor-led and blended-learning course formats.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support

This classroom, Instructor-led course with online prework uses a series of videos and simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the critical concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, adequate resuscitation, and team dynamics.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support Skills Check Off

HeartCode® PALS is an online comprehensive eLearning program. To enter the course, students must complete the PALS Precourse Self-Assessment.

Safe Sitter® Classes

Is your child ready to stay home alone, watch younger brothers and sisters while you’re away from the house, or babysit for younger children? Then maybe it’s time for Safe Sitter®. Safe Sitter® is for boys and girls in grades 6-8 who are ready to learn the skills they need to care for themselves and younger children.

Safe Sitter® teaches young teens how to practice important safety skills, how to handle emergencies, and how to treat illnesses and injuries. We even teach CPR. In addition, students learn important business skills, such as how to screen jobs, set a wage, and work with employers.
