What is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist?

Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) are food and nutrition experts who translate the complex science of nutrition into practical, realistic, and everyday strategies that honor and support your body’s unique needs. To provide you with the highest standard of care, RDNs must complete a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, fulfill an ACEND-accredited supervised practice program, pass a rigorous national examination, and maintain ongoing professional education requirements.

Help With Healthy Eating & Dieting

Not sure where to start with eating better? Whether your doctor flagged your blood sugar, your cholesterol came back high, or you're simply tired of feeling sluggish and want to make real changes to your diet — our Registered Dietitian is here to help.

Healthy eating looks different for everyone. We'll learn about your lifestyle, your daily food choices, and the habits you already have, then build a realistic plan that actually fits your life. From reducing sugar and managing your weight to dieting support for heart health, kidney health, or digestive issues — we turn the science of nutrition into everyday steps you can stick with.

Nutrition services are available by referral. Just ask your provider at your next visit and we'll reach out to schedule your appointment.

If you are interested in nutrition services offered at MMH, talk to your provider about getting a referral. After we receive a referral, we will contact you to schedule an appointment!
