Caring and Sharing 2023 – Events and Attractions

Gala Luncheon Friday, Nov. 24, 11am–2 pm

Friday’s Festival Gala is the much anticipated opening event of the Caring and Sharing Christmas Festival. The Gala is attended by local businessmen and women, individuals, and friends of the Foundation. Anyone interested in buying may attend and as always there is no charge.  Those attending get first peek at the delights of the festival and first chance to purchase the special creations. Catered by Thomas Cuisine, the luncheon is a gourmet delight of hot and cold foods, fruits and vegetables, desserts and drinks.

Teddy Bear Breakfast      Saturday, Nov. 25,  9:30 am-11:30 am    

Children in the community have an opportunity to spend a special morning with Santa and his elves! Admission to the event is a new teddy bear or toy to put under the ‘giving tree’ and donated to the Mini-Cassia Christmas Council. Children will be served a special breakfast treat by Santa’s helpers.

Admission: Free with a new toy for the Christmas Council (or) $3 per person

Saturday Social      Saturday, Nov. 25, 2 pm – 4 pm

Set aside as a special time for senior citizens and others, organizers have provided our guests opportunity to stroll leisurely among the trees and enjoy the event offerings. Light refreshments, punch and coffee will be provided. As always, the festival is wheelchair accessible and there is plenty of room to enjoy the sights, smells and sounds of Caring and Sharing Christmas.

Admission:  Free to all. Treats provided by the United Methodist Church Ladies

Event Time Schedule

Friday, Nov. 24th – Gala Luncheon 11 am to 2 pm

      Festival opens to public at 3 pm and closes at 8 pm

Saturday, Nov. 25th – Teddy Bear Breakfast 9:30 am to 11:30 am

          Festival opens to public at Noon and closes at 6 pm

NOTE: For the safety of our community and volunteers we will not be able to do home deliveries this year.  We encourage you to pick up your purchased items from 6 to 8 pm on Saturday, Nov. 25th  or on Sunday, Nov. 26th  from noon until 3 pm.  This would be a great opportunity to enjoy a wonderful family event.
