MINIDOKA HEALTH CARE FOUNDATION DONATES TO MINIDOKA COUNTY SHERIFFS

The Special Response Team with the Minidoka County Sheriff’s Office recently received a grant from the Minidoka Health Care Foundation in the amount of $4,600.

The funds will be used to replace helmets for the 14 team members of the SRT.  Currently, the helmets in use are approximately 30 years old and being able to upgrade them is huge in helping to keep team members safe, says Dave Pinther, Minidoka County Deputy Sheriff.  The Special Response Team trains on a monthly basis and responds to an average of one call per month.  The SRT is also available to assist other counties in emergency situations.

The Minidoka Health Care Foundation is pleased to be able to help keep residents of Mini-Cassia safe and healthy.
