Foundation Overview

Minidoka Health Care Foundation is a non-profit organization established to promote quality health care in Minidoka County. Its mission is to solicit, receive and be responsible for gifts given to support and enhance health-related causes.

Committed to working toward a healthier community, the Foundation supplements the work of Minidoka Memorial Hospital and sponsors activities and servicers that enhance the physical and mental health of area residents. The Foundation manages assets donated to the hospital, raises additional funds and develops long-range plans and policies.

Goals for Directed Dollars

To help meet capital / equipment needs of the hospital
To build health care endowment funds for future needs
To support other health-related, non-profit groups and activities that benefit the physical and mental health of area residents
To develop resources for vital hospital programs like Minidoka Hospice Care and Countryside Care and Rehabilitation

Caring and Sharing Christmas

Hosted by the hospital foundation at the Rupert Civic Center, this annual holiday festival features spectacular displays and special events tailored for local businesses, kids, and seniors.

Dream Builder Society

Minidoka Health Care Foundation seeks support from businesses, private individuals and service organizations. We invite donors to consider joining the Dream Builder Society, but we welcome your support for whatever hospital service or program you choose, at any level.

Heart of Minidoka

Created in January 2002, Heart of Minidoka is all about giving back! It’s a completely voluntary program that lets you support the Minidoka Health Care Foundation through easy, automatic paycheck contributions.

Scholarships Awarded

Scholarships From The Minidoka Health Care Foundation

Several $1000.00 Scholarships are available from the Minidoka Health Care Foundation to qualifying applicant’s currently participating full time (twelve credits) in a post-secondary education health care related field.

The scholarship applicant must be a graduate of a Mini-Cassia High School and a second year student or above in a college or university health care related field or approved certification course. (i.e. Nursing, pharmacy, physical therapy, pre-med, predentistry, x-ray, respiratory, health care administration, EMT, etc.)

The Minidoka Health Care Foundation along with Minidoka Memorial Hospital is extremely proud to be able to invest in the future of health care and the youth of Minidoka County through education.
